FEEDING DREAMS, EMPOWERING GIRLS

By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader

We are delighted to share another milestone achieved through the generosity of our supporters.

This reporting period saw continued delivery of nutritious meals to girls attending school in underserved rural communities. Access to regular meals has played a critical role in reducing hunger-related barriers that affect learning and school attendance.

Teachers have noted encouraging improvements in student participation, attentiveness, and overall academic engagement. Beneficiaries demonstrate greater confidence and enthusiasm in their studies when their nutritional needs are met.

Many girls supported through this project come from households facing severe economic hardship. The feeding program provides essential support that helps families keep their daughters in school while reducing the burden of providing daily meals.

Community leaders and parents remain actively involved in supporting implementation efforts, contributing to transparency and local ownership of the initiative.

Beyond addressing immediate nutritional needs, the project is creating pathways toward educational success, personal development, and long-term empowerment for girls who face significant challenges.

As we continue this journey, our goal is to reach even more vulnerable children and strengthen sustainable solutions that support school nutrition programs.

Thank you for your unwavering support. Your contributions are feeding dreams, empowering girls, and helping create lasting change in rural Uganda, one meal and one child at a time.
