EVERY PLATE MATTERS, EVERY GIRL COUNTS

By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader

Dear Supporters,

Every meal served through this project represents an opportunity for a girl to learn, grow, and succeed. We are grateful for your continued support in helping make these opportunities possible.

Throughout this reporting period, nutritious meals were provided to girls from vulnerable households across rural Uganda. These meals have played a critical role in supporting school attendance, improving concentration, and encouraging active participation in learning.

Teachers continue to report positive outcomes among beneficiaries. Girls are arriving at school more consistently, engaging more confidently in classroom activities, and showing greater determination to continue their education.

The impact of your support extends beyond the classroom. Families facing financial hardship have welcomed the relief provided by the school feeding program, knowing that their daughters receive a nutritious meal during the school day.

By addressing hunger, the project is helping remove one of the major barriers preventing girls from reaching their full potential. Better nutrition contributes to better learning outcomes, improved health, and stronger self-confidence.

Despite ongoing challenges, including rising food prices, your generosity is helping us maintain this vital support for girls who need it most.

Thank you for recognizing that every girl deserves the opportunity to learn and thrive. Every plate matters, and every girl counts.

With sincere appreciation,

The Girl Child Foundation Uganda
