A young girl called Happy[not her real name] came to Meetse A Bophelo Center also known as AIDSHOPE. The name AIDSHOPE doesn’t appear outside of the Center’s wall due to stigma in the community. The mother of the young girl died in 2022 however the ever smiling face of the young girl is a reminder that Hope is alive.
She came to the centre very skinny, always coughing, with very low self esteem and often sick. As an organization, we are seeing a big physical change in the girl’s body, she is now gaining a little bit of wait and she’s mostly at the center as she doesn’t get sick often. The milkshake[Nucleo] powder is a great contributing factor to the improvement of the girl’s health and we are noticing that she’s also growing in confidence while attending school everyday.
We are indeed thankful to AIDSLink for contributing towards Nucleo powder which is a huge blessing to the kids at AIDSHOPE.
