March 2026
In March, the program continued providing consistent support through nutritious Saturday lunches, food assistance for 25 boarding students, weekly physical education, Superbook lessons, and Saturday academic and youth activities. The school also celebrated the end of the academic year with a closing ceremony that included student awards, teacher appreciation, nutrition education for parents, and student performances. These activities recognized students’ achievements while strengthening family engagement. Preparations also began for community health check-ups and continued food assistance for vulnerable families living on the church compound.
April 2026
In April, the program focused on strengthening youth leadership and family relationships during the school break. Fourteen boarding students continued receiving daily food support, while the five-day SOL Youth Work Camp encouraged young people to serve by repairing facilities, cleaning the church, studying the Bible, and developing a heart for community service. A three-day SOL Family Camp provided discipleship training for adults and Bible-based activities for children, helping families grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially. The team also prepared for the new academic year through teacher training and enrollment planning.
May 2026
In May, the program entered the new academic year by expanding nutrition services and strengthening school readiness. A total of 204 students enrolled, all receiving nutritious lunches during school days, while 20 boarding students received three meals daily. Staff and volunteers prepared nutrition education, parenting workshops, and teacher training through coordinated planning meetings. Student health data, including height and weight, were collected to monitor nutritional progress, laying a strong foundation for ongoing child development and family support throughout the year.
Overall Summary
Throughout the quarter, the project successfully combined nutrition, education, and holistic child development. March celebrated student achievements while reinforcing family engagement and health preparation. April emphasized leadership development, volunteer service, and stronger family relationships through youth and family camps. In May, the program expanded its impact by welcoming 204 students, strengthening nutrition monitoring, and preparing teachers and parents to promote healthy child development. Together, these efforts provided vulnerable children with consistent nutrition, quality learning opportunities, and a supportive environment where they can thrive physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.

His grandmother shared that the nutrition support has greatly eased her daily burden of caring for him.
Testimony: Aung Hein Htwe “Poe Tha” (17 years old)
Poe Tha, a member of the SOL Youth Program, has grown both personally and spiritually through music ministry and youth activities. Participating in the SOL Youth Work Camp helped him discover that living out biblical values through serving others is just as important as learning them. He now desires to become a mature Christian leader who serves God and his community with humility and compassion.
