3 year old Anuj* had been coming to AAWC day care facility for the last 6 months, after which he was admitted into the night shelter. However, he would cry all day long due to his attachment to his father. Because of this, Anuj’s family withdrew him from the night shelter.
However, in past one month Anuj* was again admitted into the night shelter and he has now gotten accustomed to the new living facility and rarely cries or throws a tantrum. This is mostly owing to night shelter staff Shimla who provides Anuj* with parental care and makes him feel at home! Moreover, weekly visitation hours ensure that Anuj* is able to meet his father frequently!
