Happy new year!
Classes have resumed this past week, after a holiday break, and 2013 is off to a great start.
Thanks to your support, we have been able to raise $660 so far! These vital funds will be put towards the associated costs of our school nurse/social worker making home visits to ensure the wellness of our students.
"Physical and emotional health is fundamental to both healing and educational success," said Khaled Jaraysa. "Our goal is to provide a holistic approach to education and healing. This program is perfectly aligned with that goal."
Home visits are only one aspect of the overall goal of the nursing care program. With your support, we will also continue to provide: regular wellness, hearing, vision, and dental screenings, nutritional assessments and emergency care.
We will post another report with more photos and additional updates shortly. In the meantime, please consider making a contribution to help the nursing care program sustain full flight.
With gratitude,
The Children of Peace Foundation
