Nourishing Hope:Give Life by Feeding Kenya's Youth

The Nourishing Hope project was launched with a deep desire to provide nutritious meals to children living in Kibera, one of the largest slums in the world. Many of these children face daily hunger, limited access to clean water, and few opportunities for consistent nourishment. Our vision is simple yet powerful: to give life by feeding Kenya’s youth and creating pathways for health, education, and hope.

While we have not yet received financial donations for this project, our commitment to the mission remains strong. We continue to partner with local community leaders and schools in Kibera to assess needs, identify the most vulnerable children, and prepare for meal distribution once funding is available.

We have also been working on strengthening local networks for sourcing affordable, nutritious food, and ensuring sustainability by exploring partnerships with local markets and smallholder farmers.

Next Steps

• Fundraising: Increase awareness of the urgent hunger needs in Kibera and share stories that help connect donors to the children we serve.

• Implementation Readiness: Maintain communication with local partners so we can begin meal distribution immediately once funding is received.

• Community Engagement: Encourage local participation to ensure meals are distributed fairly and with dignity.

Although this project is still awaiting for more donors, we believe that God will move hearts to join us in this mission. We remain faithful, prepared, and deeply motivated to bring life-changing nourishment to Kenya’s youth.
