Dear Friend,
We are happy to report that our new home for girls is almost complete. Now that the construction of the walls, plastering of the ceilings, and outer plastering work have been completed, a bit of carpentry, flooring, and painting work is underway. We faced many hiccups along the way but with the support of our donors and well-wishers, we managed to come this far. If all goes well, we expect the home to be completed by the end of November this year and we start onboarding new entrants (abandoned little girls with intellectual disabilities) by January 2022.
Our children are safe and well by God’s grace and our regular special education, physiotherapy, and vocational training programs continue. We are deeply indebted to a caring and committed staff who brave the odds each day to get to work. They are indeed the backbone of our organization. We are already planning the intake of new staff for our new home for girls, which should be fully operational by January 2022.
