Clearance of building site for the new Pharmacy and Storage facility is in progress. Trees and other vegetation are being removed as indicated by the pictures attached to this report.
Following the partial clearing of the site, the locations of underground pipes and electrical cables will begin. After the underground services locations are found, they will be relocated and the site will be completely cleared of all remaining tree roots, trunks, branches and other debris. At that point in time, the construction of the portal structure can begin. The portal structure will consist of steel framing and cement blocks covered by a roof. A foundation with a frame of steel columns, beams, and roofing will be constructed. When the framing is complete, a concrete slab will be added to form the base floor of the structure. Construction materials and supplies are now being procured by Lawrence Kamba, Project Manager, and the building architects. These supplies include approximately 8000 molded cement blocks that will be added to the building’s steel framing. The goal is to have the portal structure completed by December.
