Celebrating Bernadette’s First Steps!

When 4 year old Bernadette joined the Special Hope Network Centre in January, she couldn’t walk. With determination and the dedicated support of our Community Care Centre trainers, her journey began. Months later, Bernadette achieved what once felt impossible: she took her first steps! -- Today, she’s not only walking but joyfully running around the yard.

Her mother shares: "I used to worry because my daughter couldn’t walk. Now, I spend my time watching her run around the yard."

Moments like these remind us why early intervention and inclusive rehabilitation matter. Every child deserves the chance to reach their full potential and Bernadette’s story shows what’s possible with the right support!
