Hey everybody,
Good news—we're almost there! We recently received a large private donation specifically allocated toward purchasing the much-needed new desks for our students, which means we'll be able to purchase all 50 desks next month. It also means we only need $615 more to begin construction on the water tank! If we can raise that final amount this month, we should be able to begin construction in February and complete the project before the hot, dry season ahead. Can you help us down the home stretch?
In the meantime, the year is off to a great start! Our former intern and new Director of Volunteers just moved out to Thailand and is currently hosting a team of volunteers. All in all, our Thailand staff is stronger than ever and we're all excited for the year ahead.
Helping to provide safe seating and consistent access to clean running water on site may not seem like a life-changing act of generosity, but it is. Your gifts help us make The SOLD Project's Resource Center a safe, fun learning environment for children at risk to come every day to meet and play and learn the skills they need to break the cycle of poverty. One child at a time, we're changing the future.
