Ivan is a 3-year-old boy whose parents have encourged him to enter school early. He's too young for school, but his parents are hoping that extra time in school will help him escape the cycle of poverty. They believe education is the key for him to have a better life. Such beliefs can be difficult to find in Katulikire where most adults are resettled refugees and internally displaced persons. Growing up in war torn areas, they did not have the opportunity to benefit from education. They do not always keep their kids in school.
Ivan will be different. Ivan will be the future of Katulikire and our impact on the village. He's in school. Now he just needs to stay healthy. Please help Ivan!
Thank you for your interest, kindness and generosity!
