Over the past four years, NETwork Chapters have opened in many states around the country, spreading awareness to over 30,000 children, and we have raised over $57,000. Most importantly, we have distributed 4,400 malaria nets to needy Ugandan children and families throughout rural Uganda saving over 13,200 lives and educating over 24,000 Ugandans.
We could not have done this without the help of our donors and volunteers.
After our last distribution received a note from the head teacher at a rural Ugandan school. She said,
”This effort will go along way in the fight against malaria. We believe as these girls are protected, they in turn will become the ambassadors of this noble struggle you are making. More so when they are healthy they will concentrate more in their studies. On behalf of the school, I sincerely thank you...”
This summer, we will send malaria nets to several more schools. We are distributing in Hoima and moving north toward Gulu. We will continue to update you with pictures and citations.
