Support Nest's violence and harm prevention and mental wellness educational programming in communities nationwide.
Young people across the U.S. are growing up in a culture where violence and harm, whether at home, in relationships, at school, or online, are far too common. Many students lack access to education about consent, boundaries, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution. Without these foundational skills, cycles of harm continue. The result: rising rates of bullying, abuse, and gender-based violence, especially among girls and other vulnerable youth.
Nest teaches young people how to prevent harm before it starts through K-12 lessons on healthy relationships, consent, boundaries, and empathy, alongside educator training and family engagement that reinforce safety and respect.
By reaching students early with violence prevention education, Nest helps interrupt the cycle of harm before it begins. Students learn how to recognize abuse, regulate emotions, resolve conflict nonviolently, and build respectful relationships. Over time, this leads to safer schools, stronger communities, and fewer incidents of interpersonal violence. Our long-term vision is a generation equipped to create and sustain cultures of care, respect, and nonviolence.
