Lorry loaded with essential supplies for more than 131 families set off from Patna yesterday on a two-day journey to Nepal.
For the injured and other earthquake affected people in Nepal, Nidan in partnership with NASVI and StreetNet international has sent one truck full of relief food material including rice, salt, oil and pulses. The Nidan is doing its bit for the cause.
In recent days, Nepal Earthquake shattered Nepal people. More than 8,000 people are dead and more than 10,000 injured.
"We appreciate the quick response of our partners in coming to the aid of earthquake stricken Nepal," says Arbind Singh, The relief goods will be handed over to the Nepal Street Vendors Union NEST who are working furiously to provide urgent help to the most vulnerable people impacted in Nepal.
Nidan is planning to send more relief packets and will work on long term rehabilitation process.
