NIDAN and NASVI sent a two member’s small scout team to recon and analyze the situation and chalk out the imminent requirement in earthquake affected areas in Kathmandu with help of our local partner NEST. During the visit they have visited Kathmandu, Gorkha, Lamjung, Rashuwa, Dhadin, Parvat, Kabre, Sindupal Chak, RameChhab, Dholakha, Sindhuli, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Makwanpur and Okhaldhunga.
After visiting the affected areas near by Kathmandu, Team identified there were an urgent need for following items.
Within a week time Nidan with the support of NASVI, StreetNet International and NEST will send the food packets and blankets in Kathmandu and other nearby affected areas for a quick relief.
