In March, we had our client/resident art show. Many clients and residents showcased their work, and it became clear how important art therapy is in so many lives. Participants could not wait to show off their work to community members and each other. One of the clients wrote about his piece for the art show, “It really makes you think and be patient. I had to search, find the right shapes and sizes, and try them out. It is a very interesting way to se how far you’ve come along. It helped me feel like I accomplished something.”
In April, we had a new Social Worker joining the NHCP program.
Also with Spring, comes the reopening of the garden. Residents and clients are breathing fresh air, walking in the sunlight, and enjoying being outside with the beautiful weather and garden.
