As part of its “Strengthening Citizens Against Radicalization Through Leadership and Re-integration Training in Northern Nigeria”- (Project SCARLIT), the NEEDCSI Advocacy and Stakeholder Mobilization Team of New Era Educational and Charitable Support Foundation, has continued on its Advocacy and Community Engagement visits to various stakeholders in Plateau State. The Team was recently hosted by the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Peter Azi, at his Office at the Plateau State House of Assembly Complex.
The NEEDCSI Advocacy and Stakeholder Mobilization Team also visited and engaged in very fruitful deliberations with the Management and Staff of the Nigeria Television Authority, NTA, Zonal Network Center, Jos. Also visited was the Commander of Special Military Task Force- Operation Safe Haven, at their Office in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, Major General Nicholas-
The goal of this project, funded by the Global Center on Cooperative Security is, to prevent the radicalization of youth by strengthening the capacity of local citizens and community organizations through base-level psycho-social training and tools that foster peace and dialogue engagement to support successful rehabilitation and reintegration.
