The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) has presented a Special Recognition Award of Outstanding Contributions to Local Community Schools to New Era Educational and Charitable Support Foundation. The Award recognizes and celebrates our commitment to community service through education, youth capacity development, peace education and interfaith/interreligious dialogue. The Award was presented on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Nigeria, as part of activities celebrating Nigeria at 60.
New Era Educational and Charitable Support Foundation was one of the 60 individuals and organizations honoured at the ceremony, which had Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, the Sultan of Sokoto, the Ooni of Ife, members of the National Assembly, state Governors and several dignitaries in attendance. The ceremony was organized by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Nigeria @60.
