In continuation of its Livelihood Skills Support Program, New Era Educational and Charitable Support Foundation, hosted 76 Christian and Muslim Women in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, on Sunday, November 17, 2019, at the Creative Minds International Academy, Jos. The training was conducted by Dr. Harriet Lewis Hope, Founder and President of Konensens Development Initiative (KDI)-USA. In the last two years, with support from Peace Initiative Network (PIN), New Era Educational and Charitable Support Foundation, has trained and supported 50 Christian and Muslim Women in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. We have provided Sewing Machines, Grinding Machines and also conducted School-based Peace Education Clubs, engaging 500 students in five Schools in Jos, Plateau State.
New Era Educational and Charitable Support Foundation is on a mission to establish cross-cultural leadership teams of young women and men, with skills that will help them emerge from dysfunctional families and a drug-influenced life on the streets, to become peer-leaders and agents of peace capable of helping themselves and influencing their communities for good.
