Welcome back for an exciting summer update from Humane Canada’s National Pet Food Bank program. We are excited to announce that our 2026 National Pet Food Bank grant recipients have been selected!
Our Grant Review Committee had no easy task this year as we received a record number of grant applications. There were so many excellent applications from organizations across the country, we are grateful for the incredible work that these organizations are doing to address pet food insecurity in their communities to keep families together.
We are pleased to be able to award a total of $40,000 in grants this year, spread across eight organizations. Our 2026 National Pet Food Bank grant recipients are:
We are thankful for all of the applications that we received, and we are grateful to you, our donors, who make this grant possible. We look forward to continuing to support pet food banks across Canada and helping to keep families together in 2026 and beyond!
Congratulations to our eight selected organizations, we look forward to seeing the great work they are doing in communities across Canada to support people and pets. And to our supporters, we could not do this important work without you.
