Grassroots nonprofit organization across Viet Nam have been working tirelessly on these issues, however, limited funding and constraint resources make it always a big challenge for them to find the essential resources and support to test their new solutions and/or further improve their work.
We believe in people effecting change for themselves. By providing financial, capacity building, networking support to local nonprofits who are addressing these environmental issues through Narrow The Gap, we aim to support the community leaders to test and improve the needed solutions for their own communities. In 2020, Narrow the Gap aims to provide 9 grants with a total value of more than $35,000 to local nonprofit organizations which are addressing these issues in Vietnam.
Our approach is based on collaboration and strategic philanthropy, we aim to bridge the gap between businesses, local individuals that genuinely want to support local communities and the NPOs address local issues. The program leverages resources of finance, time and skills from companies and individuals for the benefit of local, grass-roots (NPOs) which are addressing the needs of their community. Grassroots movements such as these depend on grassroots support, and that's why we need your help.
