This term has been very tempting as we have faced very many obstacles. We have had our class 8 sit for their Kenya National Examinations despite various difficulties ranging from late registration by some of the pupils, sickness, ( as some of the candidates are on ARVs), lack of examination apparatus, lack of good desks (as the ones they are using as broken) etc. But we managed to come out of these and our pupils sat for the examinations and we are very sure that they will perform well just as we performed very wel last year, where we have more than 10 pupils in the Government and Private Secondary Schools.
We have also been faced by very destructive rains El Nino which literally destroyed the iron-sheet-built classes, flooded all classes, kitchen, Library and the play-ground. We have really struggled to see that various programs goes on by using our neighbors houses and digging drainages. By the time we closed the Centre for holidays, we had covered all the syllabus from class 1 to class 8, and our babies are taken care of. All our small kids in Pre-School classes graduated to Class 1 and Std 3 graduated tp class 4 with a wonderful ceremony which was attended by the community and their guardians; and to this, we honestly thank our teachers, our neighbors and even the pupils for being hard-working and understanding the situation.
We extend our gratitude to our supporters, kind givers, donors and the community for enabling us to go through this very difficult situation by giving us support in various forms, from clothes, food, shoos, learning materials, medicines, and physically coming to help in digging the drainages, we pray that God blesses every one. We would kindly ask for your prayers, support in financial and material in the next year which we anticipate to be very difficult also bearing in mind that most of our iron-sheet classes are destroyed again. We also request for any suggestion on how better we can improve the Centre. Your contributions on ideas will be very highly appreciated
Once again, thank you very much, as we take this opportunity to wish you MERRY CHRISTMASS AND A PROSPERIOUS 2016!
God bles
