We thank God for this year! As his plans are not our plans, when we started this term, we did not know that we could come to the end of this term successfully, but we thank God that we have done it wonderfully. We struggled with our Std 8 and we are happy that they sat for their Kenya Primary Education Examination; and we know that they are going to pass. One student, Sheldon Musoga” promised us that he will obtain over 400 marks and that he and others will join Form One (1) next year.
We have refurbished one of our old Library and have received more books from well-wishers. We received more 7 pupils this term (September-December) and 5 babies were admitted to the Baby Care Unit.
We sincerely thank our well-wishers and donors for their contribution towards this project as it makes big impact to the surrounding community at large. Though we have challenges, like feeding the babies, school uniforms for the coming year 2015, warm clothes and dypers for the small ones, powder milk, beans and maize for the big ones, rice, cooking oil firewood and payment of the support staff, we have tried ourselves to manage. BUT THIS IS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU! As our Shalton "our class 8 pupil said (quote surely I do not know where I would be or even what I could have done without Mzesa Day Care Centre, but I know God will see me through all these unquote).
Since the Centre has increased the intake, we have a serious shortage of water tanks but we believe, with the your help in 2015 and that of the community Chief, we shall manage to add more.
We take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of you who have supported us throughout this year and we hope and pray that you will continue supporting this noble project to improve these less fortunate children and realize their importance of their lives.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
