SECOND QUARTER - MARCH-JUNE
Mzesa Day Care Center has been recognized by the Ministry of Sports, which is a very big step ahead for the boys and girls that we have. We have been registered in MYSA, (Mathare Youth Sports Association), a body which takes care of sports in this area. Many activities have happened and a lot of football training has taken place, prompting teachers and pupils exchanging ideas as they place. We have had many visitors from the Ministry of Health coming to counsel our big boys and girls on HIV/AIDS and various sex related issues.
Since this is the first year for the School to sit for Kenya Primary School Examinations, teachers are working extra hard and many giving in their hours to see that our children performs in their examination this year. We take this opportunity to thank all our partners, supporters, encouragers and the community as a whole who have given us hope and assistance during this time when things are hard to afford. We are looking forward to buying Games/Sports uniforms for these children so that they can with others, and it is your kind heart towards these children that will make it happen.
Thank you and may God bless you so mightly.
