INTRODUCTION

MISSION
To create an enabling environment or HOME for underpriviledged persons by enabling them access quality healthcare, education, shelter, food and other life neccessties for their survival and development.
VISION
To see a nation fit for the underpriviledged persons where they are able to thrive at attaining their self worth development and dignity.
OBJECTIVES
Mental Health brings down productivity in a family and nation as a whole.
Therefore Mental Health is still critical in this part of of Africa and the World at large.
People are committing suicide almost every day due pressure, mental breakdown, anxiety.
Some may not even show these signs, they just commit suicide without leaving note to say why.
For Hands of Mercy, it is disheartening , to come to be a part of this sad story.
It is our mandate to see to it that such cases are reduced drastically.
This can be implemeted , if we acquire the much needed support from all stake holders and proper funding.
We have only managed to raise $35 out of $ 100000 through globalgiving.
Locally, we have raised but, (in kind) to use the conference facilities for free.
CAUSES Of MENTAL HEALTH
Mental Health is caused by:
Poverty :
To think where the next meal is going to come causes stress among our beneficiaries.
Drug Abuse :
Drug abuse is another factor which causes mental instability.
Lack of employment :
When a youth isn't employed , he thinks of how quick to resolve it by, going into illicit drugs, leading to high poverty levels .
CHALLENGES
Lack of funds to acquire a serene environment to start our Mental Health facility.
SOLUTION
To aggressively advocate for Mental Health and funding, so our ultimate goal is accomplished.
CONCLUSION
To continue using interventations like the pics shown below.
To provide food and groceries through our partners and well wishers to give them a sense of belonging and livelihood .
