Playing Music during our 32nd Birthday Party!

Dear Kind Donors of our School,

We Thank you with all our Hearts for your wonderful support of our Blind Youth, so that we can take care of them and provide them with high level education in Traditional Cambodian Music.

On the 11th -12th August, we celebrated 32 years since our founding - 1994-2026.

With Dance and Music, Prayers and Birthday Cake, we gave Thanks for every Blessing.

Together, since the founding of our School, we adults have passed through war, curfew, shelling, coup, typhoon and fire. We have known the coming of Peace and through it all, for over three decades we have welcomed and taken care of those Children in Kampot Province and around Cambodia, who have lost everything and everyone. We are the only centre in Kampot Province to take care of Blind Children and Youth, and one of two centers in the whole of Cambodia. Our Blind Students form the only professional Ensemble of Blind Musicians in Cambodia.

Today a large network of former Children at our School, now grown, from all over Cambodia and the world, celebrate with us.

In our unique Work to restore and preserve Traditional Cambodian Music and Cultural Heritage, we give Thanks for the Trust given to us by the Ministry of Culture of the Royal Kingdom of Cambodia and to Her Excellency, Dr Phouerng Sackona, Minister of Culture.

We give Thanks to the Kampot Department of Social Affairs, for the wonderful, close cooperation they give us in very difficult cases. Together with them, we work day and night to resolve cases where Children are in danger. We are asked from organizations from all around Cambodia for our help.

In Profoundest Gratitude to you all for helping make it possible for us to continue running our School and taking care of our Blind Students and Children.
