As indicated earlier, the survivors of murle-nuer war are children and adult people. The children are those whose one or two of their parents were killed or wounded during this routine incident. The wounded adult people are supported by providing them with farming land, small business enterprise assets and loans but for children who are studying we use to provide school materials to them which is carried out quarterly.
For the last month of this year we distributed school materials to 20 pupils who are recruited in primary and secondary school. The school materials that have been provided are school textbooks, pupil uniform cloths and exercise books.
Five months ago we distributed non food items to selected survivors for farming land activities but this time it is time for class commencing that is why we are providing school materials to selected students. The general selections are carried out after assessment by considering the current basic need of survivors in both non food items and food items.
