Dear Friend,
You subscribed to email updates from Support specialist nurses for people with MS by Multiple Sclerosis Trust, a project on GlobalGiving. Here's the unedited update from the field:
Funding new MS specialist nurses in the UK
By Rob Carter - Director of Fundraising & Marketing
The incredible work that MS specialist nurses do every day to ensure that people with MS receive the care and support they need, ensures they can live the best lives possible. As well as our nurses already in post in Leicester, Bradford and Lanarkshire, I'm delighted to let you know that we now have new nurses in post in Hull, South Tees and Lothian, and we expect to appoint a nurse in Coventry very soon.
Claire Naisbitt - South Tees MS Specialist Nurse
“I am very happy to be employed as an MS specialist nurse at South Tees. I have worked in South Tees on the neurology ward for around 7 years and spent some time as a community nurse; which gives me a good base from which to learn and develop. I am looking forward to the training program in March and developing myself further. I am looking forward to building therapeutic relationships with my patients and helping them in need and being a support network for them”
None of this fantastic progress would be possible without the commitment and generosity of supporters like you. On behalf of the Trust and all the people with MS that we're able to support because of you, I'd like to say a heartfelt and grateful thank you.
