Dear Supporter,
Many thanks for your kindness and generosity so far.
We have a safe house where we can accomodate up to 22 families staying at any one time. These families have fled Domestic Abuse and can no longer be in their own homes. The majority of these families have had to leave all their belongings behind.
When they have spent up to 6 months with us being supported by our experienced team including our childrens team, it is then time to set up in their new home.
Everybody should have the chance to live in a safe and secure home with the opportunity to furnish it with the essentials such as beds, tables, chairs etc
This however isn't always a given for survivors and their children. Sometimes they have to move into B&B's due to housing shortages. When they do finally move into a new house or flat they want to feel able to make it feel like a home. This helps to remind them of their self worth and importance.
We thank you for your help in making a difference to a survivor and their children. To reach out and help a stranger is an amazing thing to do.
