Dear Supporter,
Many thanks for your kindness and generosity so far.
We have 2 safe houses where we can accomodate up to 22 families staying at any one time. These families have fled Domestic Abuse and can no longer be in their own homes. The majority of these families have had to leave all their belongings behind.
When they have spent up to 6 months with us being supported by our experienced team including our childrens team, it is then time to set up in their new home.
We luckily get a lot of donated good quality items to help them. Kitchen equipment, bedding and many other items which we can pass on to the families.
However we feel that it is important they are also able to purcase new items for themselves that will make their new home feel more like their own. This helps to remind them of their self worth and importance.
Thank you for your help in making this possible. To reach out and help a stranger is an amazing thing to do.
