Hi dear friend,
In Portugal, we are approaching the Christmas time - time for caring and giving to others.
We have been in discussion with our local peer-organizations who support vulnerable people, including mothers and their children in care homes, and we have decided to team up and support them during the end-of-the year season. This support is not a mountain of toys, but gifts of food items, winter clothing support, nappies and basic medical supplies to ease the financial burden of mothers. These mothers we have decided to support are living in care homes with their children. They come from diverse backgrounds, some have been abused and experienced violence at home, some are victim of human trafficking, some have been rejected by their families and have nowhere to go.
Your support this year, no matter how small, will be directly (100%) benefitting mothers who need it the most.
