Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit returned to the stage with the video production of The Three Talents, an original play by award winning playwright Harron Atkins. We were excited to share this peformance on the BIG SCREEN at the Ford Wyoming Drive-In theatre. The play explored the gods making a wager to determine if humanity is woth saving. Three teens must find a way to bring the people of their war-torn city together before the world as they know it is destroyed. Will they save the world and humanity or destroy each other?
Mosaic also wrapped up its summer camp programming. This year Mosaic headed outdoors for summer camp offering camps in three locations as well as a virtual option. Over 200 youth participated in the various camps. Mosaic also launched Mosaic Mobile, an interactive 90 minute pop up experience in communities across Detroit.
As the summer winds down Mosaic is preparing for the launch of its 2021/2022 programming year and is excited to welcome young people back to in-person programming. Leaning into the lessons learned during the summer, we are inviting our young people back to a unique out door experience.
Thank you for partnering with Mosaic!
