The impact of COVID-19 resulted in the cancellation of Mosaic's scheduled spring production, Adventures in Wonderland. Though the process of the development of the work was interrupted by the health crisis the shows themes of navigating a world with many contradictions, justice and the journey of self - discovery is just as relevant today as they were when C.W. Lewis penned the series. Being unsure of when it would be safe to gather in the theater we took time to learn how we might adjust to meet the need for our communities to connect and build on the innate ability of theater and music to promote empathy, healing and create space for dialogue. We moved to offering a variety of short virtual performances spanning published works of professional artists and original works created by young artists, as well as, youth and adult co-created works. We look forward to continuing our development in this area, as well as exploring commissions.
