The 6.8 magnitude of earthquake struck the city of Marrakesh in the Al-Hawz region in central-western Morocco on 8 September 2023. More than 2,000 people were dead and over 3,000 people injured. Many residential buildings collapsed and thousands of families were displaced, finding themselves without shelter and necessities for survival.
The States Parties recognize the right for every person to an adequate the standard of living for himself and his family. The earthquake resulted thousands of families were displaced and currently still finding the safe place to survive.
MRA will provide the basic emergency relief aid such as clean drinking water, ready to eat food and also blanket to make them feel warm and safe especially during this upcoming winter season.
This relief aid will benefit to more than 3,000 people of the earthquake victims, so that they also could feel safe to recover from the disaster.
