Most of the students who receive educational facilities belong to the marginalised section of the society and BPL families. Mainly the inhabitants belong to two blocks namely Patharpratima and Mahurapur II and do not have access to proper educational facilities as the areas they belong to are quite remote and isolated. Therefore, Sabuj Sangha’s upper primary school works as a wonder in their life.
Presently 185 children are studying in our school from preparatory to class VIII.
Ms. Srijita Bera of 12 years old from Mahabbatnagar village, P.O. Kailashpur, P.S Raidighi says, “Presently I am in class VI and promoted to class VII and the educational support is really helpful for me and with the immense help of teachers, I have succeeded in stand first in my class and along with that computer literacy has also been provided and regular health check ups are also done.”
