Dhriti* Hazra can easily be spotted out among the crowd of other students for his ever smiling and energetic character. She is studying in our school Kishalaya Sishu Siksha Niketan since she was in Sishu Sreni (SS) 1 in 2017. Now she is studying in 1st standard. Since the very beginning she is a fast learner and a good student.
Dhriti* is quiet good in all subjects. Her father Mr. Rabi* Hazra is a farmer and the lone earner in the family. He earns around INR 4000.00 per month. Her mother Mrs. Meghna* Hazra is a home maker and with ever smiling face manages all the family needs with small earnings. Though financial at a back trodden condition Mr. Hazra has great aspirations with his daughter. He says, “We were worried during the time when Dhriti* was about to get admitted in a formal school. We wanted our child to grow with all confidence and were tired of selecting schools. As there is no good govt. school in our vicinity which can afford a holistic development we were in anxiety. But Kishalaya Sishu Siksha Niketan, the educational wing of Sabuj Sangha has given us a great hope for it is the only one model school in the deep remote corner of this part Sunderbans. We are happy to have our daughter got admitted to this school. ”
Being brought up in a joint family of 10 members with aunts, uncles and grandparents Dhriti* has a joyful disposition. She studies all subjects joyfully. Thus she scored 91% in the last examination.
In extracurricular activities also Dhriti* has deep interests. She is good in sports. She takes part in the Physical Training class regularly. She is alert in maintaining personal hygiene and tidiness. Her mother says, “Dhriti* uses soap before and after meal regularly. The learnings she receives from the school maintains with love.” She is a girl of good health. She aspires to be a Doctor by profession when grows up.
