This report is centred on the funds that were raised during the accelerator campaign.
First of all I want to thank all the donors who stood with us during that season.
I have sent out individual Thank you emails to all those whose emails were availed. I have also sent out similar thank you emails to those local donors through their Whatsapp accounts.
We raised a total of $5,091 from all the donors.Were received $24 from GlobalGiving. This came to $5,115.
After all the deductions, what was wired to us on the. 24th January 2020 was $4,282.19.
This donation received is less than 10% of our project costs.
The project is meant to be made of different materialsand devices which will form the overall solar. computer lab.
We are hoping that some donors will come through for us tomove this project forward.
We have planned to buy maximum of 9 classmate PCs, but they need to be used within the defined space of a vehicle, installed with solar panels and seats for the learners.
We shall give a better report once a decision has been made on how best to make use of the funds collected.
We remain hopeful that through little by little, we shall apeal to more donors to help raise the funds needed.
