This year is an important one as we work incredibly hard for regrowth from both sides of the world!
Construction in Chanauti began at the beginning of this year, and the foundation for the new hospital is well underway. Our most recent volunteer, Michael, gives a beautiful description of what life is like as a volunteer during this high energy time. The beginning of his volunteer service was a bit slow, as most everyone was helping out with the construction! Rest assured, when word got out about the "new doctor," things picked up.
Meanwhile, MMW is working hard at home this year, heavily recruiting new volunteers, and more supplies. The further along progress of the hospital gets, the more volunteers we'll need to send! As we prepare for future volunteers, and continue to pile up supplies for their service, we reflect on the generous donations and support you've given us through it all. Without you, we could not continue with our mission of providing continual healthcare to the people of Chanauti, Nepal! Thank you, thank you!
Stay tuned to hear about the journeys of our next MMW volunteer, Mason Stabler!
