As you are aware, a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal on April 25th. Thanks to you, MMW was there, and will continue to be there in an effort to rebuild the clinic and the town.
MMW has been serving the village of Chanauti in Nepal with acupuncture and Chinese Medicine services for several years now. During the recent earthquakes, this village was one of the worst to be hit. 1,400 households are now homeless and the district is without a medical facility. Despite that, the people of Chanauti have rallied together to help each other, build homes together, sharing what food they have.
MMW is using 100% of fundraising proceeds to provide sustainable huts for the people of Chanauti to make it through the rainy season, rebuild the Chanauti clinic, and help the town to rebuild in the aftermath.
Thanks to your unconditional support, MMW can continue to be there with the people of Nepal.
