Mighty Supporters,

With your help, we've been forging ahead with plans for MIGHTYVISION, and as you can see from the comics and character drawings below, some of our current Mighty Writer kids (namely, Mukhtar and Evelyn--both in Grade 5) will be leaders in our new comic workshop space.

Just as we're excited to show off our veteran Mighty Writers' work, we're equally excited to attract new Mighty Writers from all over the city to MIGHTYVISION so we can impact even more Philly kids. Every day, something or someone reaffirms our belief that written words + visual storytelling = a winning recipe for youth literacy.

In the next few weeks, we'll be securing an official space on South Street, creating an official MIGHTYVISION logo, lining up programming and planning a launch party (we'll send you details once we have them--you're all invited!). We've had interest in this project from a couple Mighty new funding sources, so stay tuned for exciting news on that front, too, as the summer unfolds.

In the weeks and months ahead, our updates will get more frequent as our plans for MIGHTYVISION become a reality.

Thanks to your support, we can all look forward to the opening of this new creative resource for Philadelphia kids in 5... 4... 3... 2 months!
