Use of Funds Raised:
To date, we have used the donations for the purchase of 5 Langstroth type beehives from local woodworkers and 2 bee protection suits for bee rescue work. These have been essential in the intervention area and for the rescue of 5 hives that were in danger of being exterminated. However, we look forward to having the ability to purchase the land where the rescued bees are located and is a priority to ensure the continued protection of these valuable species and their habitat.
We now have 5 people responsible for their care, which are Gabriela Aguilar Sotelo, Carlos Arturo Santander Benavides, Elier Jhonny Botina Hernandez, William Botina Hernandez and Martha Hernandez.
