The start of the New Year brings about great opportunities to carry out excellent programming for our girls. We will be working together in The Gambia on our strategic roadmap planning for the year in conjunction with our girls. The goal is to scale down our planning in order to deliver much more impactful programming in a sustainable way. As such we are working on developing strategic partnerships with local business, so that we can obtain regular sponsorships on a continues basis to help sustain and fund our programming.
This year, we wish to expand to developing girl's entrepreneurship programming for girls interesting in owning their own business as they horn in their artistic skills. They wish to learn more about fashion designering and sewing, graphic design, coding, and technology. This means that we have to foster mentorship programming with experts in these fields. This requires a lot of on the ground work and partnership. The first quarter of this year will be focus on setting up these mentorship programming.
As such, we need to layout our roadmap planning for the year while choosing and defining realistic goals that are achievable and deliver the best service to our girls.
