Dear Donors,
First of all, ICDO wants to thank you for your trust and support in the past year!
ICDO's project "Melipona Beecheii Conservation", has established itself in Jose Maria Morelos, Mexico.
ICDO team continues to work with the local partners in Quintana Roo, Mexico and has involved more than 20 local Maya communities to help in conserving, documenting and increasing wild and domesticated colonies of Melipona beecheii.
Most importantly we continue to provide Maya communities with tools and equipment to support beekeeping program and to increase the number of meliponarios as well as communitiy participation.
In addition, we are working to empower the communities as well as raising awareness on a national and international level.
ICDO is proud to be part of this important initiative and grateful for all the support that will make this possible.
We would appreciate if you can share the project further so that we can ensure the sustainability of the project and boost opportunities to ensure conservation of the Melipona Beecheii.
