Happy Spring!
Please join me in wishing Aspen a Happy Birthday! Aspen turned 8 years old on February 26, 2023. She has been "working" at Fair Haven since she was just 9 weeks old...and she loves it!
Aspen continues to be a wonderful addition to the office. As you can only imagine, working in a Rape Crisis Center is a high stress job. Many of our staff come to sit with Aspen and soak up some “puppy love” after a hard day and Aspen lays on their feet to show them unconditional love and support. We are all so grateful to have her here!
Our canine advocacy services are completely funded by donations through the community. Thank you for your continued support of our project! As you can see, you are helping us make a difference in the lives of survivors of sexual assault. All donations that are collected go directly to providing victims of crime with the opportunity to have access to a canine advocate. We receive no other funding for this program. So, every dollar makes a difference!
