Hello Dear Friends & Happy Holidays to all!
What a year 2020 has been! Fair Haven has worked hard to continue to serve Survivors and provide our support through our Therapy Dog, Aspen. With Covid restrictions in place, we are very careful to follow all CDC recommendations, wear masks, social distance and clean surfaces often. So far, we are making it work!
Fair Haven staff has worked diligently to add additional support options for surivors during Covid. Our most successful resources is our new "chat feature" on our website. This feature allows for Survivors to safely "chat" online with an advocate. This technology is pretty cool and protects Survivors identity and information.
Also, it allow for safe virtual vistis with Aspen. If a Survivor is unconfortable or unable to come into the office, using our new chat feature, we can actually video chat! This allows Aspen to be in the session as well and bring a small amount of joy to a very difficulty and stressful time.
We would like to thank you for your continued support of our Therapy Dog program which is 100% funded through community donations. We truly could not do this without you!
