The MedTreks team could not send its medical experts and volunteers to Kenya for the August visit due to COVID 19 pandemic and travel restrictions. We resorted to supporting HopeCore’s team through virtual conferences on zoom hence continuing to impact the team with hand-on skills in various health topics.
We are inviting the MedTreks team and supports to Join us on Giving Tuesday to Fundraising for the ongoing HopeCore’s Homebased Maternal Child Health Clinics and Family Planning program across 516.
Through this program, HopeCore shall be able to bridge the gap in access and demand for immunization services, nutritional assessment, antenatal profiling, mosquito net distribution and family planning service affected by the COVID 19 pandemic. Over 6720 children and 9600 mothers shall access free treatment services at the comfort of their villages hence reduction in neonatal sepsis and subsequent reduced maternal, infant and neonatal mortalities.
A team of 10 Meru cyclist would be doing a 300Km ride around Mt.Kenya to help Village HopeCore in this Fundraising. You can buy a Kilometer at $1 to support their course.
