By Ari Rasori | MedTreks Kenya Director
Dear friends,
Our MedTreks teams are excited to return to Chogoria this January to work with Village HopeCore International. Every time our team returns, we have a focus for our time in the village. This year's focus, we will be involved in the first 5-day certification training for HopeCore's Community Health Volunteers. We will be helping to set up skills stations, teaching on various topics from CPR, first aid, splinting, and basic public health interventions.
We are also hoping to provide every CHV their own first aid kit. If you would like to sponsor a community health volunteer with a first aid kit, you can donate $50 to purchase a basic first aid kit. You can also sponsor an entire training for a CHW which is $300 which includes transportation, meals, education materials, uniform, certificate, smartphone, and first aid kit.
Thank you for your ongoing support in helping to improve the health of others!
Sincerely,
Ari and the MedTreks team
