At least three days per week. We are greeted with the happy sound of Aziz, "where's the guy in charge" loudly announced as he comes in the door. We know he's coming before he gets to the door cause we hear the knocking of his cane.
Aziz is 79 and can't hear very well so when he speaks he yells. He has heart issues and walks with a limp. His wife. had hand surgery and has difficulties still with her hands from one being smaller than the other.
Aziz spends most his time just wandering the streets and speaking with people. He's endearing in a way that he loves to make people smile and laugh. Refusing to stay at home he wants to be out around the people. You can see Aziz each day making his rounds and we are one of the stops.
We help him monthly with meidication. Every month as he leaves with his medication there is a loud "blessing" as he leaves, leaving us all chuckling as he goes.
