Subject: Progress Update & Projected Goals: Medical Care for Displaced Palestinians

Dear GlobalGiving Community and Admirable Donors,

Thank you for your unwavering support of our efforts to provide urgent medical care to displaced families in Gaza. Below is an overview of our recent achievements and how we plan to scale this critical work in the coming months.

Recent Achievements (September–October 2024)

1. Lives Impacted:

  • 3,202 patients received urgent medical care.
  • 505 children accessed lifesaving vaccinations.
  • Breakdown of treatments:
    • Respiratory infections: 408 patients
    • Gastrointestinal illnesses: 256 patients
    • Skin diseases/wound care: 598 patients
    • Other critical cases (burns, fevers, etc.): 1,173 patients

2. Collaborative Partnerships:

  • Teamed up with Aid4Gaza, Save Gaza’s Children, Phoenix 7, Emergency Medical Team Netherlands, and Collective Action for Diaspora (CAD) to revitalize 4 medical tents serving over 36,000 families.
  • Launched specialized services: vascular care, dentistry, maternal health, and dermatology in displacement camps.

3. Challenges Addressed:

  • Overcame supply shortages and safety risks to deliver care in high-risk areas.
  • Adapted services to prioritize pediatric care and malnutrition prevention.

Projected Goals (November 2024–March 2025)

1. Expanded Reach:

  • Aim: Treat ~6,000+ patients by March 2025.
  • Focus Areas:
    • 1,000+ pediatric vaccinations to combat disease outbreaks.
    • 500+ prenatal checkups for at-risk mothers.
    • 20% increase in wound care capacity through mobile clinics.

2. Medical Tent Expansion:

  • Scale from 4 to 6 tents to serve 50,000 families in underserved regions (e.g., Rafah, Khan Younis).
  • New Services: Mental health counseling and chronic disease management.

3. Financial Needs:

  • $150,000 required to:
    • Stock 3 months of medications (antibiotics, painkillers, vaccines).
    • Equip tents with portable ultrasound machines and dental tools.
    • Train 50 local healthcare workers in trauma care and triage.

How Your Support Will Fuel Progress

  • $35 → Covers a child’s vaccination and nutrition kit.
  • $100 → Funds a day of medical supplies for a tent clinic.
  • $500 → Supports a mobile clinic serving 200 patients.

A Message From Our Team

“Every donation helps us fight despair with hope. The mother who receives prenatal care, the child who escapes malnutrition—these are your victories.”
